These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Inman Group Freight portal at inmangroup.net and our SMS messaging program operated by Austin Inman, Inman Group Freight, an independent agency of Freight Flex (MC 1214939).
Our portal provides instant freight rate quotes, shipment booking, load tracking, and related freight brokerage services. Our SMS program — operated by Relay, our automated assistant — sends freight rate quotes, booking confirmations, load status updates, and follow-up communications to users who opt in.
Program name: Inman Group Freight — Relay SMS Quoting & Dispatch
Description: By texting our number or providing your phone number through our portal, you consent to receive automated SMS messages including freight rate quotes, load status updates, booking confirmations, and occasional follow-up messages related to your freight needs.
Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your activity. You may receive messages when you request a quote, when your load status changes, or when we have relevant market information for your lanes.
Rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
To stop messages: Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages will be sent. Replying STOP will not affect any loads currently in transit.

Inman Group Freight acts as a licensed freight broker and intermediary between shippers and carriers. We are not a motor carrier and do not take physical possession of freight. All transportation is performed by independent third-party carriers selected by us.
We operate under Freight Flex authority (MC 1214939). Our services are subject to Freight Flex's operating terms and applicable federal regulations governing freight brokerage.
Rates generated by our portal and Relay assistant are estimates based on current market conditions, fuel costs, and historical lane data. Quoted rates are not guaranteed until a carrier has been confirmed and a rate confirmation has been issued.

Quotes generated through our portal are indicative and valid for approximately 24 hours. Final pricing is confirmed at time of booking.
By booking freight through Inman Group Freight, you agree to:
Inaccurate freight information may result in additional charges, load refusal, or reweigh fees passed through at cost.
Cancellations requested after a carrier has been confirmed and dispatched may result in a cancellation fee. The fee amount depends on how far the carrier has traveled and the specific circumstances. We will communicate any applicable cancellation fees before finalizing.
Inman Group Freight is a broker, not a carrier. Cargo claims for loss or damage are made against the responsible carrier pursuant to the Carmack Amendment and applicable tariffs. We will assist in facilitating the claims process but are not the party of liability for cargo loss or damage. We recommend all shippers maintain appropriate cargo insurance.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inman Group Freight's liability for any claim arising from our brokerage services is limited to the freight charges paid on the specific shipment in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages including but not limited to lost profits, production delays, or consequential loss.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee and applicable federal law. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in courts of competent jurisdiction in Knox County, Tennessee.
We may update these terms as our services evolve. We will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
